My Favorite Things...On a Budget!

 

My favorite fun frugal gift giving ideas this year:

(Not in any particular order)

1. Metallic nail polish 

 

I like Finger Paints at Sally's for $3.99 in gold, silver, white glitter, and anything sparkly. (I did not list actual names of colors---see Sally's)

Great for Christmas parties.

2. Joy An Irish Christmas CD by Kristyn and Keith Getty

I love the Getty's. Their songs have truly wonderful messages. 

I also have to spread my Irish heritage that I have recently discovered and enjoy.

All thanks to great great grandma Molly Roarke, a claddagh ring, Amy Adams in Leap Year, and sweet Irish friends that are truly more Irish than me :). Hoping their coolness might rub off on me a smidgen.

3. Ann Voskamp's book--  One Thousand Gifts: A Dare to Live Fully Right Where You Are

Can I put a favorite thing that I have not read, but would really like to? I have heard great things about this book. My family has enjoyed her very descriptive geography books.

4. Sonic Gift Cards

 

Happy hour sodas are half price between 2 and 4. So, you can drive thru maybe 5 times for one $10 card!

Hubby and I enjoy these at Harkins movie theatre. Kettle corn and white cheddar are some of our favorites, but they have lots more!

6. Christmas ornaments with a special note or date Sharpied on the back. 

 I enjoy looking and remembering all the fun ornaments given to us over the years. The note, name, or date makes it special.  

7. Snow globes

I love them and so does everyone else, but we never chose to buy one for ourselves, right? 

7. Monogrammed stationary with initials.

I am always need of sending some type of note. How great to pull one out of the drawer with a beautiful "F" on it.

A monogram stamp would also work with any stationary.

8. Book Light
For when hubby wants to sleep.
